Harrow College & the Employability Training Academy Process
Harrow College were the first educational organisation to run an Academy and have seen a great response from their students, 20 of whom are currently receiving employability training that will help to make them stand-out job candidates. The Academy is open to all of your students and encourages them to apply, giving them the opportunity to take part in an application process that includes telephone & face to face interviews.
With so many students interested in the Employability Training we invite 40 of them to an Audition Day that sees them set a number of business inspired tasks and comes to a close with 16 students offered a place on the training while those who miss out receive full, detailed feedback on their performance including tips on how to improve and stand out next time.
I am doing a BTEC in fashion and styling, but I love getting involved in business and was really interested in going for this. To have a former Apprentice winner come into the college and give advice on how to get ahead is great for all of us… it has been a really valuable experience.

It has been a really challenging process but has helped us learn a lot, not just about business and the process of trying to find work, but about our services. It was a great experience and I think for Lee to be helping out in this way can only be a positive for young people who are faced with a lot of difficulty when it comes to finding employment.
– Adrian, 19, A-Level Student
