IC Group take on six with Raw Talent Academy

September 2014 saw IC Group join forces with Raw Talent Academy for the very first time as they looked to grow a number of their teams. Raw Talent Academy attracted top, stand out talent from the local area to an Audition Day on the 15th October 2014 at The Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, Madejski Stadium, home of Reading Football Club & London Irish Rugby Club.
All applying candidates went through Raw Talent Academy’s unique and thorough process that included both telephone and face to face interviews, as well as their innovative FacePitch process. The candidates were then whittled down until only the top 30 received an invite to the audition day with 6 candidates being offered a position with the IT recruiter.
The day saw the invited candidates undertake a series of real life business tasks, whilst being assessed by both IC Group’s senior management team, as well as Raw Talent Academy assessors. Raw Talent Academy were also happy to unveil a brand new business task for this audition day. The unique Audition Day process has been designed by Raw Talent Academy to showcase the candidates abilities so that clients can judge the candidates based on what they can do and not what is on their CV.
From the 6 that were offered a position on the day, they all varied from different backgrounds and had different experiences. The individuals consisted of graduates, some previously doing real estate in Dubai and a windows salesman.

Due to the constant growth of IC Group is has come to the point where they want to grow several of their divisions.
Raw Talent academy always intend on choosing a venue that will inspire the candidates on the audition day. On this occasion they achieved exactly what they sought after by using the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre (Reading F.C’s Madejski stadium). Raw Talent Academy attracted 571 candidate applications for the academy as it was a fantastic opportunity available with an exciting company.
