Olympus KeyMed hire again following eighth Academy
Since becoming Olympus KeyMed’s recruitment partner in 2012, Raw Talent Academy have gone on to place over 30% of their field sales team with the partnership continuing at the latest Academy on the 21st May 2014.
The international leaders in the manufacture and supply of specialised medical and industrial equipment, Olympus KeyMed, were looking to hire Trainee Territory Managers across the UK and were delighted to walk away from the process having offered 6 candidates a rewarding new career!
The latest Academy saw candidates invited to apply via Raw Talent Academy’s unique application process. As the day approached over 400 candidates had applied, with Raw Talent Academy eventually inviting the top 23 to the Audition Day held at Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club’s Molineux Stadium.
Raw Talent Academy’s application process includes both telephone and face to face interviews as well as their innovative FacePitch process.
The day saw the invited candidates undertake a series of real life business tasks while being assessed by both Olympus KeyMed’s Senior Management team as well as Raw Talent Academy assessors. The Audition Day process, created by Raw Talent Academy Founder & BBC Apprentice Winner Lee McQueen, has been designed to showcase the candidates abilities so that clients can judge them based on what they can do and not what is on their CV.
After the audition day even candidates who were unsuccessful in landing themselves a position with Olympus KeyMed stated that it was an eye opening experience and would help prepare them for future interviews following the detailed feedback provided.
Richard Lawrence, Lead General Manager for Olympus spoke after the day saying; “We have just completed our eighth academy with Raw Talent. Our experience so far is the whole process really does help us to make good and quick decisions on hiring our sales force.
“We have hired many sales people from the process and those that we have hired are really living up to our expectations. It is not only a quick process, but it also enables us to identify the right candidate for the right role!”
