Pytec’s second academy with Raw Talent Academy ends in success

PytecFor the second time on 18th July 2014, Northampton based IT recruiters Pytec enlisted Raw Talent Academy in aid of hiring the very top talent from around the local area. With Pytec looking to expand their IT recruitment consultancy team and Raw Talent Academy experienced in sourcing high calibre candidates across the UK it made the partnership an exciting announcement.

Pytec, a leading IT recruitment consultancy, commenced trading on 4th January 2000 and has enjoyed continued success, becoming a leading supplier of permanent and contract IT staff throughout the UK. They source candidates across a number of vertical markets and technical specialisms; focuses include software development, converged communications and IT professionals for the legal sector.

Raw Talent Academy’s unique process started with them carrying out a comprehensive profile of Pytec to fully understand the type of candidates that not only succeed, but thrive at the company. Following the profiling, Raw Talent Academy sourced the top 20 candidates from the local area to attend the audition day held in Northampton.

In the run-up to the audition day Raw Talent Academy attracted hundreds of candidate applications through numerous methods including mystery shopping and job fairs.

The audition day saw the invited candidates undertake a series of real life business tasks while being assessed by both Pytec’s senior management team as well as Raw Talent Academy assessors. As the day drew to a close a number of the talented individuals were offered a position there and then! The audition day process, created by Raw Talent Academy Founder & BBC Apprentice Winner Lee McQueen, has been designed to showcase the candidates abilities so that clients can judge them based on what they can do and not what is on their CV.
