Raw Talent Academy Director is latest to join the Recruitment Buzz panel
Raw Talent Academy’s Founder and Director, former Apprentice Winner Lee McQueen, is the newest recruit to the Recruitment Buzz panel.
The panel, which answers topical questions about the recruitment industry already features the likes of APSCo’s CEO Ann Swain, CV Library’s Managing Director Lee Biggins and Evenbase’s Product Development Manager Darren Sher.
The panel has already covered topics including video screening and the future of mobile recruitment, with the latest discussion focussing on the effect on the recruitment industry of the UK leaving the EU.
McQueen founded Raw Talent Academy in 2010 after growing frustrated by the lack of fresh talent entering the sales and recruitment industry. Drawing on his experiences from the Apprentice and working with Lord Sugar – as well as over a decade in the recruitment industry – McQueen created a solution to showcase the wider talent available in the UK that is often overlooked.
McQueen commented on joining the panel saying, “I am delighted to become a part of the panel and look forward to sharing my views on some of the challenges the recruitment industry is facing in the near future. As a Director of an innovative recruitment business these are challenges I am acutely aware of and I am keen to hear the views of my fellow professionals on these subjects.”
Mark Powney, Managing Director of Recruitment Buzz, said “The growth of our publishing channels is at the forefront of our business strategy and delivering quality content is central to that. Our panel debate is all about providing the industry with informed opinion; each panel member has a distinct specialism and knowledge of the recruitment market. That’s why we’re delighted to have Lee on board – he brings a fresh view point and new ideas to the table. Everyone at Recruitment Buzz is looking forward to working with him.”
