Raw Talent Soak up the Awards
One of Watlington’s biggest and fastest growing businesses, Raw Talent, has collected not one, but two awards with the Oxfordshire Business Awards. The previous award winners – having picked up the ‘New Business of the Year Award’ in 2013 – are ecstatic to have won these awards. The awards evening was held at the Oxford Thames Four Pillars Hotel on the 19th June 2015.
Born from a frustration at the lack of fresh talent within the sales industry, Raw Talent is an award-winning Sales Recruitment and Training business with a proven track record of unearthing hidden sales talent, showcasing their ability and nurturing success. Due to this proven track record they have been recognised. On this occasion Raw Talent won the ‘Best Small Business of the Year Award’ and their Managing Director Lee McQueen – a former BBC Apprentice winner with Lord Sugar – won the ‘Young Business Person of the Year Award’.
McQueen on winning the two awards revealed;
“It’s fantastic that the business has been recognised for not one but two awards, over the last 4 years we have built the business from an idea through year on year growth and to now employing over 20 people locally, so being recognised for the hard work we have put in is fantastic, its right up there with winning The Apprentice”.
“It’s a huge team effort, I ‘ve got some incredibly committed staff and its testament to what they do day in day out. We did the double, but there is still a long way to go in fulfilling the potential of this business”.
‘Raw Talent’ himself, Lee has had a successful career in both Recruitment and Advertising including working closely with Lord Sugar for over two years after winning ‘The Apprentice’. An Oxfordshire resident he has also delivered hundreds of motivational speeches and compered awards for educational organisations and businesses across the UK.
