Zest enlist Raw Talent Academy in order to grow

In early April 2014 Zest Recruitment Solutions partnered with Raw Talent Academy as they sought to attract the best trainee talent to join their growing business. Zest entered the partnership with the aim of hiring 6 highly talented individuals for their Stamford and Bristol offices through Raw Talent Academy’s audition day process. As the day came to a close the quality of the candidates was so high that Zest eventually offered a position to 7!

Zest is an energetic and highly focused recruitment company specialising in placing salaried Food and Drink professionals. They are totally passionate about being the best and delivering outstanding results to ensure that their clients and candidates keep going back for more.

The audition day, where the best sourced candidates undertook a series of real life business tasks while being assessed by both Zest’s senior management team as well as Raw Talent Academy assessors, was held at ‘The Studio” in Birmingham on the 7th May 2014. Prior to the audition day a lengthy application period attracted over 400 candidate applications. Candidates as always went through Raw Talent Academy’s unique process that includes both telephone and face to face interviews as well as their innovative FacePitch process. The candidates were whittled down until only the top talented individuals received an invite to the Audition Day.

The innovative Audition Day process has been designed by Raw Talent Academy to showcase the candidates abilities so that clients can judge the candidates based on what they can do and not what is on their CV.

Zest’s Head of Recruitment for the South Paul Fowler shared his view on the day saying; “I just wanted to say a big thank you to Raw Talent Academy for all the hard work they have done for us over the past few weeks to find the talent we were looking for to increase our team at Zest Solutions. I do not write many recommendations because I have high expectations and they are not often met. I can honestly say the Raw Talent Academy team exceeded them without a doubt. We found the process thorough, exciting and very engaging for the candidates and are looking forward to getting our new starters on-board and billing!
