AFEX are looking to add an additional team of Business Development Executives to the London office to support the ongoing growth of the business. You’ll work as a part of a team alongside a Client Manager to provide worldwide foreign currency exchange services and cross-border payments services to corporate clients. Reporting to the UK Sales Director, you will be responsible for your own sales as well as providing support to the Client Manager.
You will act as a Brand Ambassador for AFEX, acting in a way that promotes AFEX’s vision: A trusted business partner. All actions and interactions both internally and externally should underpin and uphold the AFEX core values:

As a Business Development Executive (BDE), you’ll be using your research skills to seek out and connect with businesses who require Foreign Exchange services. You’ll use your excellent stakeholder management skills to build relationships and develop consultative solutions to the client’s FX needs. With challenging targets and a lively office environment, no two days are the same. You’ll have the freedom to find your own market niche, with ongoing support from your line manager to ensure that you’re on track to achieve your pipeline goals.

As a new team within business development, you’ll have ongoing support from your manager with bi-weekly pipeline reviews. You’ll gain hands-on experience through on-the-job training and shadowing existing team members to learn from some of the best in the business.
You’ll work with your manager to identify areas for development as you progress in the role, and will continuously strive to self-develop. There are daily market updates to keep you on top of the latest industry news, and you will have the opportunity to take part in internal lunch & learns to encourage cross-team learning.
