This role is accountable for establishing and developing a customer account base in the reseller market. Proactively managing the sales of Exertis products into the account base to exceed monthly profit targets and achieve Key Performance Indicators in line with the expectations set out by Exertis.
You will be given the opportunity to sell the widest range of product to a varied reseller base. From corporate resellers, educational bundles, AV solutions and mobile phone roll outs. B2B sales offers you an ever changing, fast paced, exciting environment to excel and progress.
In the Sales Academy, we will provide you with all of the relevant skills to be successful in your role. You will embark on a learning journey with our award winning, in-house training team.
In the first few days you will meet your team, hear from some of our most successful account managers, lunch with the directors giving you the chance to ask questions about the business and the role. You’ll attend ‘The Welcome’ and learn all about life at Exertis.
In the first few weeks you will learn how to use our systems, how to sell our products and who your customers are. You will meet our vendors, interact with their products and get support from our commercial teams.
In the first few months you will receive ongoing coaching and feedback in a safe environment where you can learn and thrive. You will have your own Individual Development Plan (IDP) to ensure you get the development you need as you progress.
We do not recruit based on your CV, we recruit based on your ability and competence. Our Academy process will see you attend an exciting, challenging and informative Audition Day where you will be able to showcase your talent. You will be assessed during tasks and in an interview before receiving full, detailed feedback allowing you to develop and learn. Job offers are made within 48 hours of the Audition Day to successful candidates.
At Exertis we recognise that ways of working have changed, which is why we have adopted a flexible way of working in our offices. Most teams are now offering a mix of remote and office working on a 50/50 basis (usually a mix of 2/3 days in the office each week). For some roles and teams, this may be slightly more or less depending on business needs and individual circumstances. Your Manager will work with you to agree on local work patterns.

All candidates will complete a ‘Level 4 Sales Executive’ qualification endorsed by the Institute of Sales Professionals. Fully funded by Exertis to a value of £6,000, the programme offers candidates the opportunity to underpin their sales knowledge and gain practical ‘on the job’ experience with real time support. Once you have completed your Level 4 qualification, there is the option to progress to a degree level qualification – fully funded by Exertis to the value of £21,000.
